Happy with stock performance?

RE: Happy with stock performance?
If you are crazy, I must be more crazy. RK 2008 all stock and I am
completely satisfied. Power (more than enough), handling (perfect)
sound (don't sound like my 1980, but hotter it gets the better it sounds)
Unless I encounter heat problems this summer I will add nothing
but a lot of miles.
I think this is a beautiful machine. Rather than whine about
small imperfections. I am thankful, I am in a position to own one.
Maybe I am too easily satisfied, but hell I am happy. Maybe
some day, all of us crazy all stock guys can meet up.

RE: Happy with stock performance?
07 Ultra with 10.4k miles on her in just under 1 year. I've been riding for 20 some years, all metric until my Ultra, and my previous top mileage in a year is 11k.A few years ago if you had told me I'd break that record on a Harley I would never have believed it. I've owned GoldWing 1500, 1800, and 2 Valkyries andsome 6others, and I love this bike over all of them.
Engine wise I only recently installed a set of O2 IED's from Nightrider to get the AFR a little less lean. They seem to be doing enough of a trick for $80. The IED's and the IDS are the only mechanical changes I've done.
have no desire (yet) for different pipes, the stockers are fine with me. I wouldn't purchase any exhaust I couldn't somehow test ride first. If I change for sound, it'll be for soundI can hear, not sound that others can hear, if ya know what I mean.
