Default Conversion from Rhinhart to VH

I have looked around and searched but can not find a truly related topic concerning this situation.

I have an 08 UC with SE high flow, SERT, and Rhinehart Slip ons.

I have just ordered VH Big Shot True Duals.

I am sure it would be GOOD to have it put on the dyno again, but is it really necessary?

I talked to the dealer today and they say it absolutelty must be done. Which is exactly what i thought they would say. I just think that three hours for this service is way out of line. It is not like they are going to start from scratch.

I know, this is what i deserve for going with the SERT. In retrospect I probably would go a different route. But now it is like playing poker, i am pot committed...

Just wondering if any one else has experienced this scenario.......

Thanks, Bo

If you are going from just having slip ons to true duals, yes it is going to change up things. You will either need to throw it on the dyno and have it dialed in, or find a map that is close and hope for the best. Either way you will need to remap.

Thanks Dawg, it is much appreciated. I knew you would have an answer.....

Do you think it is OK to ride to dealer for Dyno? It is only about 10 miles?
