I have stubby little 20" inseam leags.... Mustang is pretty nice, but so wide, I need training wheels..... sux to be me

 

Bev, what you're looking for sounds common enough. Have you tried any forum members selling a used one? If it's back to plan A, get the part #s from the Simmons site and make a couple calls to local dealers, they don't necessarily have to be HD stores. With a store that you can actually walk in, you have some kind of recourse. The Mustang I bought for my last EG was through America's Open Road, an Indian dealer at the time. Mark gave me 20% off. Joe Mama's also an authorized Mustang dealer, give me the P/N's and I'll ask him what he can do. Send me a PM if that works.

 

I bought mine off ebay from americanclassicmotors for $109.00 below the MSRP.

Obviously, no returns with an ebay purchase.

Go to a big bike week place like Daytona or Mrytle Beach or Sturgis and have them put one on at the show. If you don't like it, change it and when you find one you like,ridearound a couple of days and then decide if you want it or not. If it is a Mustang, they will take it back within limits of course.
