I was out today the first time since my little mishap -- kept telling myself no wheelies and I did not until I got home to the safety of my cul de sac -- I had to hit one before I put it in the garage.

My vote on this paint job is "INCREDIBLE"! I LOVE the tones and lines. I also like what you've done to the bike. VERY nicely done! I hope you don't mind my asking but how much does a paint job like that cost? My SG is black pearl and it seems like nearly everybody picked that color too. I sometimes wakeup in a cold sweat at night from a nightmare of being at a bike rallyand being surrounded bya sea ofblack pearl bikes! I'm thinking I might like a complete custom paint job overhaul as well. Yours is one of the best I've seen yet.

Lyn, I like that paint job a lot, and the inner fairing is the BEST I have seen, by far.

My personal favorites of Harley paint jobs, including 95% of custom work, is the SE paint job onthe Autumn Haze '06 SE Ultra--and the lines of your paint remind me of that. Hope to get to see it in person soon.

I'm going to PM Kevin (Pirateeye) so he can see the inner fairing two-tone with pinstripe.

I think it looks GREAT!
If I changed ANYTHING on it, I'd have something airbrushed on the outter fairing in the silver area (Ipresume thats silver). Something like an HD logo, in some fashion.

I have 1 question though, you went through the trouble of removing the inner fairing and having it painted...why not the switch cap, too? At least it doesn't look painted on my computer.

Anyway...DEFINITELY a nice looking scoot!

 

Man, like everyone else here, I think it is outstanding... I really dig it. Subtle, not over the top... looks clean as hell... and that inner fairing is, by far, the nicest I have seen... Be proud...
