My 08 Ultra Anniversary built in November is 2303 out of 7000. Do you think MoCo will build 7000 before the 09s come out? What's the highest number on a recent ordered one?

 

According to the Willie G. internal website, the last report reveals that 8216 limit editions have been built and sold. Due to the lagging economy, HD decided to up the count of their anniversary edition Ultras. Their goal is to produce 14,123 by the time the 2009s come out.

 

How can they up the numbers if they are serial numbered??? Are they gonna give new serial number plaques or whatever they are to all of the 7000 and under owners???

 

My bet is that it will stay at 7000.The production end date was originally set for 31 jan 08. I do not know otherwise about the Willie g info.

Isn't it false advertising if they say its Limited Edition and only 7000 will be built. and then build more?

 

I don't think they could/would do that. Even given the fact they may be hurting financially, there would be 7000 of us really pretty pissed off.
