The passive jammers do not work. A scam. The active ones that do work are very expensive and detectable also illegal everywhere. Not really worth the price. I do have a Valentine 1 radar detector that works great but even that is limited. Laser is detected but much to fast to react in time. Just not that many lasers down here in la. but more than enough in other states. It works where i need it for those speed traps they like down here and is the best one i have owned. It certainly is better than nothing.

Radar jammer?!?!?!! That's cheating! I mean, isn't half the excitement of speeding wondering if there's a speed trap around the next corner?

Nearly all laser devices in the UK.

Laser will lock on and give a reading in about 1/3 second. Optimistic reaction time for Joe average to an unexpected event is around 0.6 of a second or about twice as long as the laser.

Lasers here will pick you up at 1000 metres. They are officer operated so not on all the time, there isnt a detector made that will save you. As for jammers, I've never come accross one which works.

Nothing on earth will work against VASCAR, which is also used in the UK. Computer times a vehicle between two points over a pre-measured distance. As the target vehicle hits the first marker officer starts the recording, and stops it as the vehicle hits the second marker. Nothing to be jammed.
