When it comes to butt dyno's and pipes I think a lot of people are fooled by their sense of hearing. Your bike sounds more powerful and better to you, thus your butt duno equates this to being noticably faster...

At any rate, your pipes are new... They will get louder on their own. My rhinehart true duals sound much better now with 5000 miles on them then they did new.

Duals sound awsome and get ready to hear about how much low end torque you are going to lose. Trust me it is alot of crap, If you get a good tune it will run better than it did with stock pipes.

Amen to that. I put BUB 7 True duals on without the crossover and I noticed way more pull than the stock setup on my butt dyno.
Very happy with it and yes your V&H will be louder with true dual setup versus stock headpipes.
linck241...your going to need some sort of fuel management. I just did it today. I had too. The Stage 1 download isn't rich enough for the Bub 7's w/o cross over. I tried it and now I have a heat score on the front pipe. It's pretty blue underneath as well. The Bubs are bigger (1 7/8) than most of the true duels (1 3/4). Makes it waaaay lean.

Just a heads up. Here's the pictures. Have a look.

Thanks for the heads up but I am using the powercommander III with it. They had a map for the that system set up that I down loaded.
I hope that it doesent happen with that.
Sorry to see that, you gotta buy new sheilds now or will they warranty them?

Talked to Bub Yesterday. I had to send the pictures as well as the bills with proof I ordered the Stage 1 at the same time. If Bub doesn't come across ( and I think they will), the dealerships that told me I didn't need the fuel pak will. They were pretty good. They put the fuel pak on right away and ate the labor.

You should be fine with the PC. I just hope it didn't mess with anything internally. This happened 155 miles into the break in on a new bike. Should be fine. If not, there's warranty.

+1 I just got Rinehart TD's to replace my pipes and trust me also i could not feel in my any difference, maybe the dyno says difference, but loosing a few pounds of torque, you wouldnt feel that in your ***.

Default Sound

Cams will make a difference in the sound..., I have a buddy with true duals and Vance and Hines sounds good but not deep nod throaty. I have true duals with cfr's and cams...., it is a deeper sound
