Without a doubt.

I'm sure fairings are nice if.......

1. Its really cold out (how often are you going to ride like that)

2. If you really want to look like you're on an old man's bike. Yes, even the SG looks like an old man's bike to me. They can sport it up all they like, but that batwing fairing says "old man" in capital letters!

Sounds like your lean'n towards the SG...get what you feel is you, whatfits ya best, and has what you need.For example, I went from a EG to a RK..to ME that was a great move, but another would say no way.... I had3 bikes loaded...., but the King is King...

There is nothing that makes a Street Glide an old mans bike. It's been the #1 selling Harley going on 3 years. Onr Damn cool looking ride. Do I feel old with Rock n Roll blaring out my batwing and skulls painted on my fairing? NO[:@]

Had a Goldwing,with the fairing,thought i was driveing a convertable cage,bought the King,now I am riding a motorcycle,bought a I-pod that clips to belt for tunes on long rides.
