Default Anyone change the SG mirrors for handlebar mounted?

The rear-view mirrors on the Street Glide have always left something to be desired in my opinion. Now that I've changed bars, mostly I just see my fists. I plan on changing the mirrors to those mounted on the handlebar.

Have any of you already done this? What did you use to plug the empty hole once the stock mirrors were removed?

I seen alot of people put tweeters in place of them. If you need a stock set of mirrors PM me. We can trade or work something out...

I changed the mirrors after changing the bars, too. I put on Don Hotop Oval mirrors.

I've currently got holes in my fairing and am looking for suggestions to plug them, too. I was considering just replacing the fairing with a normal FLH fairing without the pre-drilled holes for the fairing mirrors.

I replaced my bars with wild ones 575,I also replaced my inner fairing with a new one shiny black it does not have holes. I did not like the SG mirrors either, reminded me of my jet ski it has same type of mirrors.

Thaks, guys. If nothing else, I thought I could find a plug at a home improvement store, like Lowe's.

I've been looking at the HD mirrors that includes the "fisheye". I don't know what they look like in person, but anything is better than what I have now.

Thanks, pal. I've got a set of mirrors that came off my stock Deuce. I could use those in a pinch, but I appreciate your offer.

I just put Cyclesmiths 13" apes on my 07 SG and put Polk tweeters over the holes left by the mirrors. The mounts have holes in the same place as the ones on the fairing so you don't even have to drill any new holes. Once mounted, the tweeters look great. Once you are at it you can also had the Hogtunes speakers for a great sound.

I couldnt stand the mirrors on the fairing - too bad to, because I liked the look. To me, they shook way too much and it made it hard to see out of them. I changed my bars and got a painted inner fairing all at the same time, so I don't have any holes. Sorry I couldnt help ya there.

Didn't I read somewhere on here that MOCO had mirror relocation plugs?

Should be able to find rubber plugs at a hardware store.
