Wind gusts, better to ride with windshield on or off?

Just be careful, wind gust are dangerous, even at 30mph. I was driving through the maingate at Vandenburg AFB when a gust hit me. I drifted over to the curb. My front tire hit the hump where the asphalt and concrete come together. My front tire twisted one way and then the other very fast. I would have never thought it could happen, but when it did that, my bike spit me off like I was nothing......good thing I landed on my head.....lol....

Man just stay focused and hold on,catching cross wind on a curve can send you into a ditch,or the oncomeing lane if it hits while your relaxed and sight seeing!!
