Default batwing wind deflectors?

who has the lower wind deflectors that go on the lower section of the batwing? I saw the ones at the stealer that open and close. I am wondering if its worth getting the ones that open or are the standard closed ones just as good.
Thanks

With the adjustable ones, now standard on the Ultra, you can direct airflow to your upper torso, which is very useful on hot days.

I have the $30 ones that stay closed. Great for chilly mornings and cold days.

Buy the adjustable ones, you won't regret it!

I have an 08 Ultra with those on it and really like them. Open when warm, closed when chilly !!!

Last year I took the batwings off and enjoyed the extra breeze and cooldown. Got cold, put them back on. Bought/mounted the adjustables for this year. I'm sure they'll work out fine. Noticed last year with no batwings and rain, that the rain/mist came up underneath my chin!

I currently have the fixed ones on my 07 andtheir really nice when the weather is cool, however on those hot daysI have to remove them to get a little more wind. I'm planning on getting the adjustable ones here within the very near future, especially since everyoneI know that has them, love them... "D"

Put them on a couple of months ago and was impressed with how much of a difference they made in cold weather. Haven't had the opportunity toopen them upwhen it's hot, but I'm sure they're going to help.

I have the adjustable ones, have run them open and closed and didn't seem to notice much difference. IMO.
