Thinking of lowering the rear of my 05 roadking classic I'm debating going w/a 12" air shock that eastern performance has for $127.95 (Made by Midwestern Motorcycle suppy)or the progressive 12" shocks (#412) $184.95 at eastern performance. Money is not really an issue just want best bang for the buck. I'm worried about bottoming out on the tire,scraping the floorboards on turns and the ride comfortwith the 1" drop. I usually ride solo (185 lbs.) some times w/ my wife (120 lbs). ANY SUGGESTIONS

The best, Progressive 440s. Air shocks suck.

If money is not an issue, then go with the Legend Air Ride. Lower and raise the bike with the push of a button.

 

i have them on my 05 rkc they work just fine and look good to.
i've never bottomed out. they have been on about two years now.
if you shop around on e-bay you can probably get them cheaper

don't know about the progressives but the reg.chrome 12' shocks from eastern performance is what i have

 

I'm also running the Eastern Performance 12" shocks. I have no complaints. My bike rides and handles as if I still had the stockers on! Well worth the money IMHO.

Save your $$$$. I went with the cheapies on my Ultra ... no problems.
