Default Clearview

Just put the Clearview 6 1/2 recurve on my EGC. After three different windshield sizes, I think I finally found a winner! I tried the 4", but it just threw the wind in my face, and buffeting was terrible. Did the Harley 9" and liked the wind protection but just couldn't get passed the looks. Took the Clearview out for about 50 miles today and so far, I dig it! No, it's not perfect, but it seems to be the right combo of good looks and decent wind protection that I've been looking for. I don't like to be changing windshields for different kinds of riding, I wanted one I could put on and forget it, and I think I found it. I still get wind in the face but it's more of a gentile breeze than a wind tunnel. My helmet doesn't have that feeling that it's being ripped from my head anymore. Buffeting is completley gone, I don't feel like a bobble head doll anymore! If anyone out there is interested and doesn't want to wait, you can buy blems for about $20.00 less and get your windshield in just a few days, not 4-6 weeks. I ordered last Wednesday and mine showed up today. When I ordered, it said there were 3 to 4 very minor scratches on the bottom of the windshield. I can't see em! I think they're down on the bottom so low that when I put it on the bike they are outta site. I looked before I installed but still couldn't see em. I give this 's for great quality at a decent price!

Yep, they're good shields. I've got four of them.

I'm 6 ft and the 6.5 is finally the answer after 4 shields. Got it last week.

FWIW, I'm also 6', but it took the 8" to make me happy. I'm a bit longer in the torso, so that's probably why there is a difference.

How about some pics. I'm curious how the 6 1/2 with recurve looks.

I'm 5'10". Yes, I will be selling the 4". I got mine from Clearview, and went to the "blemished" section. I paid $98.00 delivered. I'll post some pics in a while.

Here's some pics. I'm not too good at this, so I'll apologize if this didn't work so good. I wish I could have taken these outside, but too dark.
