RE: What type of highway pegs for FLHR?
I want to add some to mine, but I gotta base the decision on what pegs fit me. Question for me is, how the heck to you try out different pegs to see which ones fit me as a rider? I see a few '08 RK's out there and most of them don't have pegs on or the guy riding the bike is 2 feet shorter/taller than I. So their setup wouldn't work for me anyway. That said, I've been looking to see what's out there and am considering the Kury Longhorn Duellys because they have a decent sized peg and are have a seemingly decent range of adjustability.

Kurykrappen makes a pretty clean mount to fit crash bars. For pegs I prefer the plain rubber highway pegs Harley used on EVO's. Never could get comfortable with stompin' on high dollar shiney chrome accessories with my boots.
I mounted mine low enough that my heel can rest on the boards & my toes rest on the pegs. I can also stretch my legs out & lay my heal on the peg. Gives me some foot/leg position options.

I removed the crash bar and installed the Kury "Cruise Mark IV" pegs. They mount on the same spot as the crash bar bolts under the floorboards. I love 'em, and they go off and on in about 1 minute.
