Yes, the V-Glide...Road Rod...whatever it is called...the first time I saw one I thought, how did they get a RG that low...got closer and saw what it was...
the only thing I didnt, like was the rear fender, and of course the small fuel tank under the seat.
I haven't ridden one yet, might be too much fun to get off of...

What you need to do is buy both. That way you don't have to decide on just one. All kidding aside, my FLHTCUI is a better fit for me than my FLTRI. I still love the FLTRI.

Correction. The FLTRI is my wife's ride. [sm=badbadbad.gif]
Maybe if you are nice to her, she may let you sit in front...I don't think I would like my RG as much if I had to sit on the back!!!

I own a SG and love the looks and the bat wing fairing but I do understand what all you Road gliders mean when you talk about stability. Back in 1977 I owned a CB750 Honda, had a frame mounted Windjammer fairing that I loved. Only took a few miles to adapt to the steering around corners, after that never even noticed the windshield didn't follow the front fork. I think my bat wing does a good job and never had a problem at higher speeds as i have experienced on bikes with just a windshield.

The bottom line is we are all still a family no matter what HARLEY you ride.

Ride long and safe!

Frank
