I bought mine here: http://stores.ebay.com/AMERICAN-CLAS...QQftidZ2QQtZkm
They usually take 3 to 4 days to ship but I saved $100 off the price.

Agreed . . . Ebay. Just be patient. I got my "wide vintage w/rider backrest & pass seat for $440 to my door. Looked like new. Waited for a few months. Would have been almost $700 w/tax if I bought it locally (or purch on line w/shipping)

BTW, the Mustang is the single best (non mechanical) part I have put on that motorcycle.

Lewis custom cycle in Hayden KY 1-877-633-3395 Ronnie will give you a great price and the customer service is second to none. I ordered a vintage solo with driver backrest for the road glide and had it in 2 days FREE SHIPPING! I love the mustang, firm but a little softer than a corbin. I have no affiliation with mustang or Lewis just a satisfied customer who appreciates good service. Britt

American Classic on ebay.. I've bought a seat and other parts. Shipping is fairly quick and everything I've received has been perfect.

http://stores.ebay.com/AMERICAN-CLASSIC-MOTORS

These guys had a decent price, but watch their ads carefully. Their ad stated they had a touring seat for "1997 - present". I have an 08, so I figure it will fit.

After I ordered and paid on 3-6, I find out it won't fit the 08. They were slow (they never answer the phone - apparently very busy - always leave a message), but they were decent about it and cancelled the order. So, I bought the correct model for the 08 from them, and paid on the same day, 3-16. Cost MORE of course, but still cheaper than ordering from Mustang.

Anyway, I get the seat on 3-27, the day the FIRST seat was supposed to arrive - Great!.

But then UPS tells me that a second seat is coming, and the vendor still has not credited me for the first seat. Called and email, but still no reply from them. Not worried about it yet.

I would still buy from them, just be careful to make sure you order the correct seat.

BTW, I only have about ten miles on the seat, but it seems to sit you up a little higher and a little more forward than stock. Also, the rider 'bucket' has a real sharp angle on the rear of the seat that takes a little getting used to. Seat is firm and comfortable, but frankly not that much better than stock on the short haul.

I bought it because of all the very strong recommendations in this forum about how great it is on the long haul. Stock seat SUCKS on any trip over an hour. Also, I got it particularly for the wife, she HATED the stock passnger seat.

Will give more feedback when we get a few more miles under us on the new seat.

MandMcycles.com @ 20% off retail.

As for Cycle Spot, avoid him in my opinion.
