Default Need RK Reduced Reach Handlebar Pictures

Does anyone have pictures of a Road King with the Road King Pullback Handlebar on it?

I just ordered this bar and cables and as usual I'm starting to second guess my decision. The problem is I haven't been able to find someone nearby with this on so I can get first hand knowledge. Any pictures would be very helpfull along with how you like them.

Thanks,
George

These are all I have for now. Click on the links below. I put the reduced reach bars on the bike last year. They were a big improvement for me.

Did you need to replace the cables or just extend the wires?

Those are RK Reduced Reach in my photo below. I didn't have to change cables, but I did have to extend the wiring due to the fact that the RR are drilled for internal wires. You can't really use them with external wiring (like stock) because the underside doesn't have the indentation where the wires exit the controls...just a hole.

Thanks for the pictures, the bars look good. I was worried about that as the P&A catalog picture makes them look goofy. The parts guy said I need to change the cables so I'm going with braided, if I gotta change them anyway why not. Again thanks I was worrried more about how the bars would look and the narrowness of them at slow speeds.

i went another route bars from older rk or taller but narrower so u dont have the cost of cables or wires or brake line and it was a big enough improvment to stop the shoulder pain on long ride dont really need pics on that bar it is very close in apperance but that extra 2 inches did it for me

Not to move in a different direction, but, did you look at replacing the bars with Heritage bars? I have an '01 RKClassic and needed the bars pulled back more. I talked to the parts guy about what I wanted and he recommended the Heritage since no cable or wiring changes are needed. THey were only like $45.00 for the chrome ones, figured I couldn't loose, compared to the price of other bars and cables and wiring....Anyway, sorry for the length, but I have been very happy with 'em. I'm 5'11' and I can sit comfortably without having to "stretch". Just passing info along if you can use it.

My parts guy suggested the Heritage bars as well. I wnet and sat on a bike to check out the bars and didn't care for them. They were like mini ape hangers and I didn't want the additional height. I'm happy with the RK bars but they are just a little too far away.
