Just wondeing if anyone has an idea what could be wrong. I have an 08 street glide and over the winter I put a rinehart 2-1 on it with se air cleaner and pc111 and I have put on a few miles on the set up now and I noticed that my tach stops a 5 grand even though the motor obviosly keeps reving I'm just wondering if the power commander now controls this or if it is possibly a bad guage any ideas would be appreciated

 

buy both manuals.
the 08 touring service manual and the electrical diagnosis manual.
It will tell you how to trouble shoot the gauge and wiring.
As far as the Pciii controling , I'm not sure, but I don't think so.
the tach receives it's signal via the coil.
