OK guys let me have it!
Let me start by saying thanks for the people who have inquired about my Street Glide as well a few compliments here and there. Now I haven't been around here along time but long enough to know there is a great group of guys (and ladies too I'm sure) that hang out here.
I recently snapped a few pictures of my Street Glide. The pictures were taken in my garage and since there is snow on the ground here in Michigan I refuse to take the bike out for now; hence, the sh!&y pictures are all I have to offer.
This is where I need you guys (or gals). As you may or may not have noticed, I took an untraditional path from what most HD owners do with their Touring bikes by adding some things people would generally not do. I like to be a bit different and plus with the sea of factory looking bikes it is nice to stand out in the crowd a bit.
Here we go, I am VERY thick skinned so don't worry about my feelings. I want to hear the forum out on what you think of the things I've done to my Street Glide. I am NOT fishing for compliments by any means I mearly want feedback on the appearance of my Street Glide. So with that let me have it... the good, the bad the Fugly. I'd rather know now what the masses and experts think and feel about what I've done. Plus, if I find a majority of you all don't like something or think I'll be the laughing stock of my local HOG group I want a chance to reverse what I did or change it completely before the spring thaw!
Really... keep my family out of it [sm=chairshot.gif] other than that let me hear it. Again, for the record, I'm NOT LOOKING for an ego trip I went out on a limb with my ideas here and I just want to feedback.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and let let your fingers do the walking.... on the keyboard.

RE: OK guys let me have it!
I have to ask, why would you want to know the good, the bad, and/or the ugly?? That bike is yours, you bought things for it, and did things to it cuz you liked it or just wanted it that way? It is yours, and you are just making it the way you want it to be.
Ride the bike and enjoy! The bike looks good and if someone does not like it then to bad for them.

If it's just opinions you're looking for.... (sorta like butt-ho's, you know)....
Not a big fan of the seat, but other than that, looks damn good. I don't think you're going to get flamed either here or by your riding buddies... And I'm sure quite a few won't agree with me on the seat.
I sure wouldn't remove anything because of what any particular person thinks.... (I happen to love the rosewood inner fairing I have, but it doesn't seem to get kudos from the majority - doesn't mean I'm taking it off...)

Boy, that's risky! But, since you asked. I think the bike looks great. The only thing I see that wouldn't suit me, is the seat. I know it was a custom made job, but it looks like it's wrinkled in the bottom of it. Since there are no other flames on the bike, I might have left them out. It also looks kinda thick up toward the front. That may be what you were after for comfort, but for me, I like the thinner seats, and of course no wrinkles. The bike has a really sleek look to it. For that reason I would have opted for the Corbin Hollywood solo, or something along those lines. Though not as comfy, it would have looked killer. The other thing is a very minor detail. From what I can see in the pics, the front turn signals are either amber, or red. I can't tell for sure. Either way, I think the smoked kit, front & rear, would look really good with the black theme you have going on. A slanted, smoked LED tail light would look cool too. While I had the fairing off, I probably would have sent it out, and had it painted gloss black to match the outter fairing. It really makes a huge difference. I've done that to a couple of customer bikes. Just my .02, but what do I know. I painted my primary ride flat black! Seat wrinkles or not, the bike looks great. Bottom line is, it's YOUR bike. You make it look how YOU want. Mine is stipped down, and flat black. Some love it, some hate it. Either way, I don't care. I built it for ME to ride. I wanted something low maintainence, and something I didn't have to stess over when I parked it in a crowd. I have other bikes to be "pretty". You have a beautiful bike, one anybody should be proud to ride!

I think you have a very nice looking bike, as others have stated the only thing that doesn't really work for me is the seat. But if you like it who cares if I or someone else doesn't. That's what seperates us harley owners from all the other bike, we PERSONALIZE.

Ok, you asked for it, the bike looks like crap, I mean why would you put yourself through such pain & agony to indure even a ride on it, so I'll help you out, send it to me and I'll take all the laughter that it will bring when I ride it,
I wouldn't change a thing except maybe the seat, and maybe the smoked lenses.
