RE: Auxiliary Lights, Which Bulb
This is the best option - I've had others on each bike, but these are the best:
Auxiliary Lamp Bulb Kit - Clear Lens with Halogen Bulb
Enjoy bright balanced light which complements your Halogen Headlight. Distinctive reflective inner domes add new character to your front end. Kit includes two bulbs. These sealed beam bulbs are a direct replacement for Original Equipment or accessory Auxiliary Lighting Kits.

IN-STORE PURCHASE ONLY Contact dealer for pricing and availability.
Fits all models with Original Equipment or accessory Auxiliary Lighting Kits. Sold in pairs.
MSRP US $67.95

RE: Auxiliary Lights, Which Bulb
Our personal choice for Auxillary Bulbs is the 68348-05 with upgraded 886 bulbs.
Bulbs are 55W each and make a great addition to any bike that is ridden at night.
If 55w is too much light, you can use 894 bulbs, which are 39w each. Stock bulbs are 27ws.
Most late model touring bikes can handle the additional 110 w of power.
Within the last 60 days or so, there was a post where a forum member had done a great amount of research on replacement bulbs. Can't locate the post right now, however, the writer had done a fantastic job of expaining the options for modular replacement bulbs. Do a search and see if you can locate the post.
With the left light aimed "low" along the centerline of the road, and the right aimed a bit "higher" to illuminate the edge/berm area, these light added greatly to the night vision for a touring bike.
Good luck
