If you are thinking about doing a HQ build, don’t hesitate.
My buddy is the Lead Mechanic where I went to ride the HD Demos today. He came by my house back in December as PhilM and the gang was doing my build. He has wanted to ride my bike since then, but our schedules have been out of sync. So when I got to the dealership today he took my bike for a quick spin. I told him to be honest and tell me what he thinks. When he got back he said unbelievable. He went to his boss, since they were slow today and asked if he could do a free dyno run just to see the numbers. He gave me my print out and I am ecstatic. His boss told me they just did a 103” that didn’t get those numbers. He told me I really need to get those Thunder Headers (true duals) off and put on a fat cat, which I already know, but with the numbers I just saw plus the sound my bike makes. No changes will be taken place anytime soon.

I’m not sharing the numbers so don’t ask. She’s a sleeper!

No the guy that wanted to race was my salesman. We fianlly rode together (but not raced) Someone on the forum slipped and told him I did a build. He saw first hand what it will do and he backed off.

 

Thats good to hear, heard some rumblings about HQ lately but I know I made the right decision too with getting mine. Just got it done and its alive but I can't ride it in the friggin snow. Somebody needs to tell Al Gore that he's fired. Manish-Hawg, I sent you a PM as well.
