Default Radio Shack siren install on an 08 FLHX

I have been dreamingof all that I want and willinstallon my FLHX ever since I received it last month. What an addiction!!!!!!!!! One thing I would like to install is an audible siren to its factory installed security. My question is, do anyone have detailed instructions on the install that they can forward to me to help me along?

One thing I would like to install is an audible siren to its factory installed security. My question is, do anyone have detailed instructions on the install that they can forward to me to help me along?

These are the instructions for an 08 Ultra

1- Remove left side saddle bag and electric cover.

2- You will see a plug in a black plastic holder on the lower left. (only plug there by itself). Pull it out.It should have only 3 wires going into the plug. lThat’s the factory connector for the factory siren.

3- The radio shack siren #273-079 has two wires on it. Look at the plug real close and you will see numbers on it. The red wire from the siren goes into the first hole on the plug ( I think it’s a gray striped wire) and the black siren wire goes into the middle hole . I just pushed the wires in and reinstalled the plug into the dummy holder. That should keep the wires secure.

4- I just zip tied the alarm next to the plug and that was it.

Did it to my 07 a while back. 10 minute job at most. Just remember to have your key fob with you whenever you push your bike around. Sometimes I forget and get a 120db reminder.
