Second Ride of the year on Easter
I was a little bummed because my wife nixed my idea of taking the owners manual for my new ride to read at Easter mass... oh, well.. When we got home the weather was sunny, roads were dry and it was 29F outside. Promised to take my daughter for a little spin around the neighborhood and let her pick out a CD to play in the stereo. After I dropped her off I headed out for a little break-in ride, cranking up the tunes and feeling like a million bucks. As I entered the village limits I realized I was jamming to Hanna Montana on the stereo,(daughter is 10 years old). The ride wasn't up to Choochoo's winter cruise standards but it sure felt good to get her out on the road!

RE: Second Ride of the year on Easter
The wife and I took a nice 75 mile ride yesterday to nowhere in paticular. It was in the high 40's. Only the second time we have been out this year. I've been out by myself more than that. Even though it was a pretty tame winter, it seems like the days that were nice enough to ride (above 35º) there was either left-over salt on the roads or rain in the forecast.

Same here.
Wanted to get out a little earlier in the day, but I had to run and buy new mailboxes thanks to some little bastards.[:@]
Jokes on them though, neighbor got the license plate number. [:-]
Filled the tank and put on about 30 miles and gave her a fresh wash afterwards.
Now if we can just get Ole Man Winter out of the Northeast..........
