RE: Road King Question
well actually big pete, i did walk the bike out the door, then started it up and rode it the 67 miles to get home. do you think 16,000 was a good price for what i got, it was the 3rd bike i bought from the same dealer so i think they took care of me, and also for that price got a 3 year extended warranty.

I was just kidding about walking the bike out the door
And yes, sounds like a good deal to me.

RE: Road King Question
Lotus: I have a much better deal for you. Fly to Las Vegas and buy my '05 Road King Classic for $14,000! Ride home and save bunches of money after going to the Laughlin River Run. My bike is advertised in this forum and on Las Vegas Craig's List. It is loaded and in impeccable condition. It does not have any issues with valve seals or pan gaskets. ............... BC

RE: Road King Question
To put things in perspective for our US friends...
In Calgary I bought an 07 Road King last June for 25,500 out the door. When I started looking in 05/06 they were closer to 30,000.
The only upgrade I did were the wheels to the spokes.
They wouldn't move on the price because, like the sales guy said, "We don't need too - If you don't buy it someone else will" and I knew he wasright.
I don't think the prices have dropped THAT much since then either - Maybe a grand.
So 17 grand for that bike in the US is probably REALLY high... But here its probably only a little high.
