Thinking of going to V&H Pro pipe. I think there are 2 different baffles what is the diffrence in Proformance and sound and which one would you use.

with your set up.. the baffle the header comes with should be just fine. Spend that $$ on some other bling.

I had V&H slip ons w/turn down end caps before getting a pro pipe and V&H fuel pak, and I love the way mine sounds now.

<edit>

I checked out VH web site on the technical info page.

"Q: I have your Pro Pipe HS and want to put the competition baffle in it. Will this work ok?"
"A: The competition baffle is intended for racing use. It is designed for increasing peak horsepower, meaning that there will be a loss in torque compared to the standard baffle that comes pre-installed."

i just put a V&H propipe on my bike...love it!...i asked the same question about the baffle and it seems the competition baffle looses low end torque...not really sure why but alot of folks have said that...i have the stock baffle and to me it's fine
