I bought the tire changer just for the bead breaker. I do my tire change by hand on a piece of carpet using rim protectors and a couple of tire spoons. I can do it without marring up rims.

I looked at the MC attachment. To me, it looked like nothing more than a fancy wheel holder. I didn't really see how you could use it without messing up the finish on the wheels, so I skipped on getting it.
We use green dish-cleaning pads between the rim and clamps, which work great to prevent marring. It's very helpful having the rim secured while wrestling with the tire during mounting.

Yep, the good ole bumper jack. Broke many a bead with one, but it's not getting anywhere near my Creations 5 wheels!!
