Anybody figured out who makes the Fxrg Boots for Harley or something like that style ? I would have bought the FXRG but they are only in a D width and I need them wider so was hoping some one has allready figured this problem out as well .

 

always had that problem with harley boots thats why i dont wear em. i think hush puppy makes most of them but not sure

 

Wolverine makes most of the HD boots. Not sure about the FXRG line though.

 

I was always told it was hush puppies as well? It might have changed in the last while?

Try LSS . they have a pair of boot thats almost identical to the FXRG bot.

 

same problem here...i have been looking at tacticle boots that are waterproof..some manufactures are Danner ,Bates ,Magnum, my son is in the army and wear bates and loves them....they all make models that look like the fxrg boots

The FXRG boots are Bates. At least the uppers on them look exactly the same as an old pair of BatesI had. The Bates by the way didn't last for s&*t.

 

I'm not sure who Harley has their boot contract with but they send the labor to China!! It pisses me off every time I see the boots and will never own a pair of them. We have a local shoe company making military boots and they have an outlet for these... http://www.corcoranandmatterhorn.com/. I'll support american workers before I buy something with a chinese Harley toe tag.
