Default wheel balancing

I just got a set of the 9 spoke mags with tires that were just taken off an ultra. Can I put them on mine and go or do they need to be balanced?

Thanks

They should probably be balanced, but the last set I put on mine weren't and I sure can't tell any difference.

If the tires and wheels are still mounted then you could just stick them on. But if they were unbalanced when they were on the other bike they will still be. I guess what I'm saying is if they were ok before they should be ok now.

I happen to be in the tire business, you should check the balance to insure the assembly has been match mounted, and is as round as possible, round is more important then balanced.
