Brake dust works quick!
Just a word of warning ! Wipe that brake dust off them cast wheels or change the pads when new. Put my first new rear tire on today. I am surprised about the surface damage. I thought I was keeping them clean.

They say change your pads to Lyndalls and that eliminates the brake dust altogether. I'm getting them next time I change pads.

The metallic content in th OEM pads is what cause the pitting. Lyndalls will eliminate the problem. So will EBC Kevlars.
