Personally, I like to see some of the crazy **** these guys can do on bikes, But in a controlled invironment, My freinds uncle was killed by a young guy like that on his way to pick up his new Harley, Guy going 100+ on a country road blew a stop sign and side swiped his truck, The bike killed the guy and the guy on the biked lived. WTF! T

 

I read through all of this. I didn't see anyone condone the way these two were riding. We all know that what they were doing is illegal and dangerous. The only disagreement I see here is what "society" should do about it. I agree that there are more than enough laws on the books right now to handle the situation. I am always amazed when people think that passing more laws covering the same violation will help. Stricter punishments, sure, more laws about the same issue? How will it help? People will think twice if it is double illegal? How many more would refrain if it was triple illegal?

Do you ever notice how most people think that anyone driving slower than them is an idiot and anyone driving faster than them is a maniac? The leaders of the ABATE chapter I belong to tell us at the beginning of each ride that safety is the most important thing. Then we get on our bikes and ride all day while we are drinking and not wearing helmets. If the guy out front is driving 80 mph, it is because he has decided that is safe for all of us. If he drops to 70 mph and someone passes him, then the guy who just passed him is a maniac and shouldn't be allowed to ride with the pack anymore because he is not a leader and doesn't know what is safe for everyone else.

I got no problem with safety. I do have a problem with anyone becoming a danger to a public road. I also have a problem with someone riding drunk at 80 mph without a helmet and looking down on me because I am not safe.

Ain't it the truth! And I bet quite a few of the bikes have open pipes too.

I think I saw a Harley rider wave at him. I could not tell if he used 1 finger or 2.

 

Wow! That's exactly why I got rid of my rice burner...I'd be dead by now.
