Well my 29 year old son ordered a New 08 Ultra in two tone red today.
It is his first motorcycle. I talked him into taking the Abate course last fall
and he got his license and road my wife sportster for a few hundred miles.

He is single, has a good job and I am proud of him. He called me today laughing and told me
he was ready to show me up on my 07 Ultra. I offered to help him with some chrome and he would have nothing to do with it.
Said this was his and I had mine. Ha Ha. I can't wait to spend time riding with him.

 

Tell him Welcome to Baggerville! You can check out, but you can never leave!

That's great..Both my boys have Harleys..and we do have a great time riding together..although the youngest one does love riding on just the rear wheel (PHIL)

 

Congrats to him and you for the purchase and the fun times you will have on the road couchs. Funny you mentioned you son is only 30. I just purchased my '08 EGC and I'm also 30. I hope this is a growing trend with us "younger" people. I never did like the big tire chopper thing anyway. Harley to me has always been about big bulky torque slow cruising. Congrats!

Great choice in bike and color I envy your time with your son..mine has 2 yrs left on his hitch in the Navy. Once he is out he is talking about getting a bike of his own to ride with me. Can't wait!
