Well it has been a long winter here in Upstate NY. Seems like a year since I last rode my scoot. It looks like the weather is starting to break, so maybe I'll be out in the next few weeks. As long is the salt is off the road I don't mind the cold.

Made plans with some brothers to ride down to Myrtle Beach for bike week. Some other brothers are trailering down and we'll meet up down there. Haven't done MB, but my buds have and say they enjoy it. I need some R&R with the old lady bad right about now and can't wait!

I hear the Suck, Bang, Blow is a fun spot and have seen some video's on you tube of some great smoke shows.

Any other great spots to ride to for a day trip or hang out and have fun?

 

SBB is ok once, but that's enough for me. I prefer the activity up north. There are several good runs/loops that they advertise and put maps out for. You might be able to get them on line but they are all over the place down there. South to Charleston is nice along the coast and then some decent roads back slightly in-land. Barefoot landing Is a good place to hang out for the day . Lots of venders drinkin and eats too plus House of blues and dicks last resort are next door. SBB gets too crowded try going past it to Murells inlet cool bars and resturants. There's a new party place on 501, Hard Rock Park

 

Looking forward to it myself. Also allot of venders and bars at South myrtle beach Harley davidson on HWY 17 South. My favorite area though is Broadway on the beach on 21st street in South Myrtle beach. All the major vendors are located here. Good resturants, bars and walking area, bands, etc..Have a great time!!

 

Yup... Its getting closer.... My wife has been checking the weather in MB for weeks now. Its been a long cold rain/snow filled winter up here in the North East. Myrtle Beach Here we come..... again.

Better lock your bike down good. A good number of bikes are stolen at MB.
