FWIW, Pakistan is one of the very few countries that still vat dye leather...the dye actually penetrates the leather. The US still relies on old-fashioned dip or spray dyeing (this method only coats the outter surface). It has been well established that vat dyeing is far superior for proscessing leather.

 

Some of the H-D isn't made in Pakistan it's made in Mexico. (and China)

Fox Creek is made in the U.S.A. and has a real warranty.

I'm sure your dealer is a wonderful person and he employs a lot of nice people but the folks at Fox Creek are nice folks too. And they make their own product and don't just resell someone elses.

Fox Creek....... made here. HD charges like they are made here but, from the slow boat they do come.............

We don't always have a choice regarding Made in China or not, but when I do have a choice....... well I buy AMERICAN.

 

If you are wanting a quality jacket that may well be the last jacket you ever buy, go the foxcreek. I have the Vented Racing Jacket.

 

FOX CREEK! I think I have looked at just about everything over the years, and NONE compare to the quality for the money! American made too! (I loved my jacket so much, I just "upgraded" and ordered a pair of their chaps! If its possible, they are even nicer than the jacket!!)

Try to find who made the HD jacket. Then, contact that company about buying "their" brand.

 

Pine Tree -- I contacted Fox Creek regarding your comments aboveabout U.S.leather processing.This is their response:

Therefore, Fox Creek leathers are processed in the preferable manner.
