Where can one find a replacement volt meter for my 98 Ultra Classic?
Can they be rebuilt?
Was working fine and then it went to the right of gauge, had the electrical system checked and everthing is good.
Any other ideas.

 

Check E-Bay they are available there, your dealer should be able to get you one also.

 

Remove fairing.
Unplug the gauge.
Use a voltmeter to read the voltage on the correct pins
of the wiring harness.
This will make final confirmation the gauge is defective.
although the connection may not be same on atermarket
gauges. Most anyone that will mount will work.
Just connect the wires right.
J&P cycles and others offer replacment gauges or you can go to
the dealer and pay half again as much for a HD gauge that in reality
isn't even made by HD.
