Default Cruise Control

I'm sitting here trying to decide how to blow $300 which was given to me by a friend for work done on his bike. He insists I use it towards extra's for my bike and not being one to argue......I'm trying to decide whether to purchase cruise control or some bling. Have those of you who didn't have it intially and then installed it found it was one of those things you don't know how you got along without it or is it something you just use occaisionally and could do without?

Thanks,
Rick

I use it a lot when I'm on the highway, or if I need to give my right hand a break......also come in handy to talk on the cellphone if needed.

I put 400 miles on the bike yesterday. Cruise Control was on for about 300 of those...love it.

I just got my SG with cruise and love it. It's nice to get on the highway, set the cruise, and turn up the tunes! Money well spent IMO.

I love Cruise Control. The long rides are so MUCH better with cruise. If riding in a group just make sure you're the lead dog in that pack. Otherwise your cruise is useless as the group speeds up and down the entire way!

If you ride on the highways much then I say go for it!!!

Cruse control is a great choice. Added it shortly after getting my bike and would not be without it.

Ride Safe,

Mike

Can't get it for my '01 FLHT[sm=boosign.gif] but I did put it on my '05 FLHTCI which I ride to Myrtle, Laconia, and Daytona from here in VA.[sm=icon_rock.gif] It make a world of difference when you have to chew up the miles before you get to the good stuff. You won't regret it.

Cruise all the way. It's especially nice when you're rolling along known radar intense roads. I set mine, lean back and enjoy the ride without worrying about getting ticketed.
