have extra jugs and heads from a 88b and before sending off to shop for porting & boring, i'd like them diamond cut. Any suggestions.

Seems backwards to me.

I'd think you would send them out for porting and boring
and then for cosmetic work.I wouldn't to take a chance on having
them scarred or scratched up while being ported/polished/bored.

These people do the diamond cutting.

Porting and boring needs to be done first or you will damage the Diamond cut finish.

I have the diamond cut jugs on my bike and love em. I get a lot of compliments on them when people look at the bike. Diamond Head done the job on mine and they do fine work. I think you will be happy with the results. I have two extra sets of brand new jugs that came off of my 05 Ultras if anyone is needing some. Both bikes had the diamond cut put on them before i took delivery of the bikes, so the only run time they have on them is from the factory.
