the easiest solution to the leaking shock thing is to remove the hose and install schrader valves directly into each shock itself. Schrader valves are not a direct fit and it will take some creative engineering on your part.

In my experience, air shocks have the ability to provide a smoother, more comfortable ride if they are properly set up. The key is having them pressurized to the correct psi for your weight/load.
Takes some work to get it right.

The dealership put 8psi in them for me. Sucked. People here on the forum told me to go to 20psi, it bounced... I finally found my grove at 12PSI.

Net... play with it. even a few psi difference makes a world of change in the behavior of the bike. run it a few good runs at each setting. I haven't touched it since I got it to 12PSI but it took me 4-5 tries to find what fit me and my 265lb 6'6" frame 1up.

Best of luck to ya.

Bro, 35psi is way to much, with that much air it'll feel like your riding on a hard tail. When ridingone up and no gear, IMO I'd recommended around 20psi. As far as leaking, mine and everyone I've rode with has an issue with their shocks leaking after a while, I suppose it's a HD thing. Hope this helps, Good Luck... "D"
My scoot is only a5 months old, but I have put that pump on the nipple and it is locked and loaded still even this weekend at 12PSI.

NO Leaks here yet. Baby...

i have owned legends, progressive(both air and spring), & now have platinum air....i am ordering Penske shocks today from Howard(FastHarley).....he is telling the truth....Penske shocks are by far the finest, most tuneable shock on the mkt.....they are used on the hottest cars on the planet....all others pale in comparison....i'll report back on the ride once installed

Try reading here if you like, we will have more when the members post. Some just give up trying to explain. We provide a service/product that no one else remotely does. There is no such thing as a hard to beat, the hardest part is rider education. LINK: https://www.hdforums.com/m_3045545/m...tm.htm#3045545

Bryan,
Let us know how they ride. I've been through several brands including Progressive and Works. Still not getting the smoothe ride I'm looking for.
