Default need antenna help

just put a hidden antenna in the fairing of my 07 sg their was no dir that came with the antenna 3 wires one goes to plug in the radio and one is the hot wire and the last one is a thick bare wire where does that go ? noware or is that a ground wire

You'rs is broke.

If it came with no ground wirethen you must mount it to a base that is grounded to the frame/battery. I think [8D]

Just put in a Dakota Digital antenna on my EGC, only had one wire which was positive and the coax to the back of the radio. Ground was through the coax into the radio. So far the reception has been awesome. Only problem now......weather man says rain this weekend[:'(]

If it's bare, it has to be a ground wire.
