With spring right around the corner and a long layoff from ridin' coming to an end,I'm wondering If most of you practice any slow speed exercises, quick stops and basically just sharpen your skill level during the newriding season.

Yes, I plan to head to the local high school parking lot for some practice moves as soon as the weather breaks and work hours allow. It certainly won't hurt anything....knock on wood.

Nope, I have been riding for many years and even had about a year with no bike. First time I got on one again it was like I just rode one yesterday!!

I think you are smart to practice, especially on these bigger bikes. Going staight and fast is the easy part. Good column in Hogtales this month on slow speed riding.

Yep, already have been to the local parking lot. Also 3 of us have signed up for the Experienced Rider safety course on 5/4/08. Money well spent in my opinion. All of us tend to pick up bad riding habits sometimes.

Always practice. Got the Ride Like A Pro video and set up the exercises in a local parking lot.

My brother in law and I take the experienced rider course every spring. It's fun, good practice, and we usually learn somehting new. But generally, I feel confident without it.
