Agreed - the ERC is also awesome & adds more confidence. Our problem is that our HOG chapter hijacks one at our local college (Washtenaw CC - barjbar) but it runs at the beginning of May and we will probably be riding next week! So we cut up some tennis ***** to make the RLAP courses & go out early Saturday mornings to our local school parking lot.

Hehe, be careful these poor folks are on a short fuse after being cooped-up all winter without their 2 wheeled therapy sessions.

Get the "Ride Like A Pro V" DVD. Well worth the money and a lot cheaper than an MSF course. Plus you can watch it as often as necessary.

You actually want to retrain to ride again each spring, Just wondering. If you take a Vacation away from yourLady for a few weeks do you also take a refresher course,,, If so contact me. I live in Raleigh,NC. We ride just about year-round..... but, I sat in on a Goldwing club's "slow speed seminar" last Sunday, and 6 of my group went to the MSF-erc yesterday. I'm old enough to know I don't know everything, and young enough to learn something.

Sure do. I've been riding for 25 years, but still go through slow speed and other practice drills a couple of times a year. I'm betting thata lot of guys believe they're in top form (no matter how long they've ridden or how long it has been), but I'm also guessing many of them are deluded or just haven't anticipated the reality of what they'll eventually face on the road. It's reallyabout advanced riding preparedness to maximize safety.
