WOW! Bummer, at 70 it's real easy to do the "raggedy ann" all over the highway and get run over or have the bike land on top of you. Your blessed to not be dead or seriously injured.

The bike will get fixed.

I was at Blizzard beach in Orlando the largest slide drops you at about 56MPH andthat's lighting fast, so 70+ on the ground! The angels where holding you that day.

It's a double hurt to be taken out by a bud/bike. I'm still recovering from a left turner that hit me, but it was a 19 yr old cager, pretty common I guess.
In my younger days I laid it down at 70 mph, but it was just me overcooking a corner on a Cafe' bike, no other vehicles around. After digging myself out of the ditch, I was able to ride the slightly bent bike home. Just rash for me and the bike. Can't imagine what it was like on a major highway. Good luck on your recovery!
