Probably quicker to just keep on as you're doing to get it turned around. That's what I do and I don't care how many turns of the wheel it needs, just takes a few seconds and it's facing the way I want it.

I know how harbor freight quality is... a buddy of mine had something similar to this from a real mfg and he liked it... not sure how well this one is made, but you get the idea.
My neighbor has one, wants to give it away.
I think trying to drive your bike up on a wheeled sled that keeps moving may be an issue.
