Default Should I get a Street Glide?

I have a question on ask you all? I currently have a 2003 Wide Glide, since 2006 I have wanted to get into a Street Glide but have waited all this time. My problem is that I really dont want to give my bike away, I am currnetly trying to sell it on HDTrader but have had no takers as of yet. With the economy the way it is should keep a bike that is paid for but not necessary happy with or should I get a bike I want with bill? Or any other suggestions. I am finally going to be done with college for ever, thought an 08 street glide would be a good graduation present for myself. Any serious input would be great.

lifes too short to worry about the small stuff
Trade in the WideGlide, get whatever you want
by the time you're 50 you'll have forgotten about the
couple of bucks you had to put into the deal to make it happen
PS - same advise applies to Corvettes and second wives

That about sums it up! If you can afford it, DO IT and don't look back.

Bro, You have to go with whats in your heart. If you can afford two bikes then so be it. I some times wishI had another bike that I could ride for short runs on bike nights, but I can only afford one bike, my Ultra and believe me she's a sweet ride. The street glide is a sweet bike also, but only you know what you can or can not afford. Good luck with your decision and your future... "D"

sorry bud, but nobody can answer that except you. Do what works for you and your budget and just be glad that you get to ride, whatever it is.

Dude. Can you handle the debt? Given your age, (assuming your a pup having just finished college), and unless youreducated to begin a career in Social Services, (where you wont make squat),hanging on to your HD's is just about as good as hanging on to some land right now. Dont sell it. The market is ****ed and the Buyers are squeezing you.

Your young, take on the debt, and get out there andmake some cash. Your HD will sell at some point, believe me.

The SG rocks. In my opinion, the best bike HD has made, ever.

Id say go for it!
Don't look at it like your loosing money, think of all the good times you had on the Wide Glide and it was worth every penny.
You wont be the first one to take a bath on selling.
I just sold an 07 Heritage for 16,000.00 and had 24,000.00 in it. My dumb fault.
I put almost 10,000 miles on it and enjoyed every minute.
I pick my 08 SG up this Saturday. Weather pending.

Your Wide Glide probably depreciated as much as its going to. If you have time consider the used market. You can save a few bucks and possibly find a bike done up for less.
If you wait long enough heck mine will be for sale. Loaded.
