Default FLXH Leather Bags

Anyone ever heard or seen a SG with leather bags? Road King Classic or Custom ones with the emblem removed? Anyone have a pic? I'm considering it but just cant visualize it and seeing one would make it a whole lot clearer to decide.

The Road King Custom bags have the "Road King" script that is attached using three holes in the saddlebag. I considered these for my Electra Glide, but haven't seen a solution to those three holes since I don't want the RK script. I did mount a set on my bike and it looked very, very good to my eye; also tried the Classic bags but the buckles didn't work for me cosmetically.

Hope you can find some pics to help with your visualization.

Install Electra Glide script where the Road King script was, getthem at J&P cycles for 25 bucks or so.

bht: I have the EG script on my front fender; it's pretty large IMO for the saddlebag application. Thanks for the suggestion.

What about using some small button head screws painted matte black,or try going to a leather shop and get some plugs from when they punch holes in the leather and glue them in or punch some out of the extra material on the inside ofyour bag for a perfect match. On my classic bags I found out there is quite a bit of overlap material when I installed some locks and trimmed the leather back for a nice flush fit.

Yeah I've priced the CVO bags too. Too many other 'required' changes to accomplish before I will put that much cash into replacing perfectly good hard bags. If I can get my hands on some Road King bags I might make the change. Someone suggested taking the Customs Road King badge to a local shop to see if they can keep the plugs and possibly attach another design to it. Thanks for the pics people, I'll get mine up soon!
