How do you guys clean the rubber part of ISO grips to keep the black stuff off your hands?

That was my biggest complaint about ISO grips. It would take but a couple of days after cleaning until they would start doing it again. The only way I figured to prevent it was wear gloves.

Easiest way I found was to replace them. I run the stealth grips. Love them.

Just installed ISO's on my 08 Ultra and it's the first time I've used them on a bike. I'm assuming soap & water will do the trick.

Just for a little while. The rubber pads become very sticky and attract everything. I think the sun even plays a part in adding to the stickiness of the rubber slowly breaking it down. Even when I wore gloves my gloves they would stick to the pads of the grip. After sitting all dayatwork I would come out and grab hold and feel a nice new layer of dirt had layered them during the day. It got to where I was cleaning them every morning. After 4 years of having them I will not buy them again.

I always wear gloves, so I never even knew this was an issue.

I have an 08.... so there's not alot avail yet. Personally I think they suck I will never get them again.

I'm waiting on the PM grips or even Harley grips as they don't need glue.
