I had them for three years on my heritage and just put them on my sg. I almost never wear gloves and have never got any black or dirt on my hands from the grip. I think they are a great grip. Very comfortable and hard to beat the throttle boss. I use it alot even though I now have cruise control.

I hope I didn't just jinx myself, but after 23,000 miles, I still really like these grips.

Same here. 40K miles on 2 bikes with them and will always use them.

are you talking about these? I was going toget a pair tomorrow, but not if the black dye is coming off on your hand.

ISO-Grips with Chrome Accent Fits: '82-'08 H-D Models with dual cable throttle control. For the rider who demands the ultimate in comfort and style, Küryakyn offers the ISO-Grip. Styled to match the popular ISO-Pegs, they dampen handlebar vibration while providing a sure cushioned feel for long haul comfort. Because of their unique removable end caps, this is one of the only custom grips available that may be used with stock air reservoir type handlebars.
Does not work on 08 Touring models with electronic throttle.

That is what I run and love them!! I have the throttle boss thing on there too! No black on my hands and no gloves either!!! Wash your hands guys, too much internet ****, LOL [sm=icon_rofl.gif]
So are you guys only having this problem on one hand?!?!?!?!?!? [sm=icon_rofl.gif]

I don't have them nstalled yet on my SG but I ran them on my Night Rod and never had any problems. Seriously comfortable also. Didn't even consider any other grips for replacing the sh*tty stock ones on the FLHX.

Most comfortable grips I ever owned had them on 4 bikes so far. I like the throttle boss even with cruise control. Really a good idea to wear gloves anyway, they will save your knuckles and palms even in a very minor accident.

I had them on my 99 SuperGlide and they were great except for the black hands after a ride. Tried cleaning them with everything. Nothing seemed to help. Haven't put them on my 05 Ultra yet for that reason.

I've been using them for about 5 yrs, and I love them also....Mine are NEVER sticky, and all I've ever cleaned them with is Harley Sunwash...I think you guys that are having trouble this way are using too caustic stuff to clean them...EVERYBODY I ever knew that rode, rode with gloves...
