Tire pump

Tire pump
Weplan on touring Wyoming & Montana a little this summer on our EGC. I'd like to pack a pump & tire plug for emergencies that might occur outside of cell phone range, just so I could limp to a dealer for a new tire. I prefer mechanical things over the latest & greatest, such as CO2 pumps, or mini-compressors. Any recommendations for a small, but effective bicycle pump? I'm talking about the type that you see mounted on the frame of a bicycle, not the standup type.

RE: Tire pump
I keep a 12 volt minicompressor and a tire plug kit on my bike. I also use this stuff . . . Ride On tire sealant: Good reviews on this stuff.
I also have AAA just in case.

2. Attach provided filler hose.
3. Squeeze 1 bottle per wheel into tire.
4. Replace valve stem and fill tire.
Simple. Found a very good review somewhere on the web. Think it was BikeWorld or something like that. Do a google search.
Also, quite a few people on this forum use the stuff.

RE: Tire pump
This is what we use, light weight but super heavy duty, with a stainless steel cover.
These people also stand behind their product. Their web address is www.cyclepump.com
Hope this helps. Tim
