MrBuck, I wanted to go this route, but my pinstriping skills need work, and the other folks around here that do it are busy this time of year.

These colors go well together for a nice hot rod look. I would like to use them but my RKC doesn't look like a hot rod. I've been thinking about doing my RKC in 57 Chev Turquoise.

ABout the copper in satin, that has merit also. But I think one of the newest Trask bikes already has that color, maybe a little orangier.

Here's a better photo.

Ok, so maybe not of the bike, but hey....it has merit.

My dream will be to build a Vrod Night Rod Special Bagger and do that paint scheme to it! You all wait, if I sell the Grocery Getter that will be the next project.

Funny, I dont mean to revive an old thread, but this was a thread I started in March 2008, funny it took me 4+ years to make it come true... took a while to realize it, but it is done and as badass as I had in my vision back then! Just didnt do the Vrod Bagger version.

I have seen that Robins Egg blue on some Ford Mustangs and wondered what that would look like on a Harley bagger. Old school maybe?

I think a lite color like that would look badass with other parts blacked out... maybe wheels, engine covers, etc... try it!
