RE: Street Glide or Electra Glide Classic
GET THE ULTRA CLASSIC......I have a SG...well I should say I have a Ultra Classic Street Glide.... Plus, If I had gotten the UC, I would have still spent the same amount of money on mods. ie pipes, rims, chrome, etc..........
So, its better to have and can take it off than need and not have!!!!!!!

EGC is the best choice trust me. If I had to do it over I would go with the ultra because eventually you will add all of these items trust me. Lower about $700 and tour pak about $900 there your price difference right there.

The SG is certainly a cool looking bike but if you can only have one I would get the EGC. It is a nice bike and gives you a lot more options, plus when the wife does ride, she will likely be more comfortable. Hopefully this will encourage her to ride with you more often.

Looks like I might have to go with more bike for the same money, which mean EGC. But I was fantazing about the Street Glide all night, interruption came when I thought about making runs to the grocery store for small items or the HD dealer for goodies and thought about carring items. Looks like having the Tour pack just seems logical for reasons other than back cushion for the Mrs. Logic does has its place
