Pinstriping my Street Glide
I am debating pinstriping my black Street Glide with red flames. I wanted a nice paint job but after pipes, a backrest, auxilary lights, performance baffles, I have dumped $3200 in extras already. I know a nice paint job is around $3500. I found a guy with 30 years experience in pinstriping. He said he could put some really nice red pinstrip flames all over my bike for about $400-$500. Think I sould or just wait a year or 2 and do a whole paint job?

I agree--I wanted to paint my SG silver with ghost flames---it has been done 1000 times and counting---I think some kind of funky tribal design would be cool

I really like the look of P/S on a motorcycle but everybody and their brother have flames, Think of something different.

I'm supposed to do it Thursday or Friday. He said it shouldn't take more than 5 hours. $400 sounds like such a deal. I can do the clear coat over it but it would run me about double that. He said without the clear coat it should still last at least 5 years. Heck I will do a full paint job by then.
